A Life No One Will Remember. A Story You Will Never Forget. France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever—and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets. Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world. But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.
How did you react to the novel’s ending? What had you been predicting for Addie?
I loved the ending. I assumed she made the deal because she loved Henry and made the sacrifice to stay with Luc, for Henry. I love that she found a way...🤗
What would you rate this book and why? Between 0-5 stars.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I loved this story! I couldn‘t stop reading ♥️
What was your favorite part of the book?
So many!! I loved when she met Henry at the bookstore and the circumstance when he remembered her. When she planted the sapling for Estelle. The writer was excellent at drawing you in to the times, places & circumstances without it going on and on.
Are there lingering questions from the book you're still thinking about?
Not really. Although - I would love to see how Henry’s life played out; just because. 😉
Which location in the book would you most like to visit and why?
Paris, France. Because I haven’t been there yet.
